Welcome to the New Wave Mechanics Blog. “New Wave Mechanics” is the name which I have given to set of intersecting and mutually influencing research lines which I have been pursuing since (at least) 2016.
The topics I write about are broad and seemingly diverse, but they are all interconnected: Here I write about Fundamental Physics, History of Physics, Philosophy of Physics, Metaphysics, History of Technology, Old Quantum Theory, Special Relativity, Gravitational Theory, Geometric Optics, Wave Optics, Electromagnetism, Minimum Principles, Unification, Retrocausality, Multidimensional Time, “Antigravity” or Modification of the Gravitoinertial Field, Faster Than Light Physics and pretty much anything which is connected to the above.
Regarding me: I am a 34-year old guy which has been interested in philosophical, scientific, and technological things since childhood. I got a BS in Physics and a MS in Plasma Physics. When I was younger I thought that going to University, following the courses and getting a degree in Physics was all that was needed for inventing an antigravity device and design a working warp drive prototype.
I however discovered that in order to “make science-fiction real” one had to go deeper and sideways with respect to the standard academic path: this brought me to read many different sources and acquire a lot of unconventional and fringe knowledge which I then combined with the standard stuff and with knowledge gathered from old forgotten (but anyway accessible) books found in various libraries which I came across.
After many years of study, reflection, and production of material, I have decided to share my thoughts, findings, and (re)discoveries as I encounter them. I am still in the journey, so what you find here are my traces along a path which will very probably continue forever.
Enjoy!
